Updates from our film section. New festival selections:

LP – A Vida Continua (USA/BR): selected and running at Visions Du Réel Festival (Nyon, Switzerland). We did music and sound design for this!

If Only I Were That Warrior: WINNER! Best Feature Documentary at Festival dei Popoli (Florence, Italy), selected and running at Big Sky Film Festival (Missoula, MT, USA). Sound design, sound editing and mixage was done here.

Sfiorando L’Alba: after the première at Inte Film Festival (Rome, Italy) the film is now officially selected at David Di Donatello. We are proud, for the video is running over, and named after, an orchestral piece that we wrote and produced.

Upcoming from our music section:

MacDowell’s “The Seventh Seal”, an International Brazilian Opera Company under contract with the Ingmar Bergman Foundation and the Bergman Family, will be premiéred next year with Act I, and the official recording and production will be handled by Come Together Music LLC. It is MacDowell’s second opera based on a film by Ingmar Bergman, after Cries and Whispers, performed in USA and Europe last year, that will be also released soon as a studio recording.

The recordings of Porto’s new album have just started. The new work, following the European release Scimmie (praised among Best Albums of 2014 by European magazines and streamed on BBC), features miss Abby Powell’s vocals.
